Dr Gerri Kimber, Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Northampton, has been awarded an Author’s Foundation Grant of £1,000 by the Society of Authors.
The Author’s Foundation provides grants to writers to assist them while writing books, and Dr Kimber’s award is in aid of her forthcoming biography of Katherine Mansfield.
The Authors’ Foundation was established in 1984 to mark the centenary of the Society of Authors. It has been generously supported by authors, charitable trusts and the Royal Literary Fund.
