Staff Profile

  • Yinghui Zhang obtained his BSc degree in Mathematics at the Zhejiang University, and went on to study the Relational Database System at the Northeastern Heavy Machinery Institute exploring the foundations of NULL-keyword database theory for his Master’s degree.

    He completed his PhD in Virtual Environments (Virtual Reality) at the University of Hull.

  • Yinghui Zhang’s current research interests focus on incorporating the Brush friction model into the state of art development of physically based simulation, global illumination, and haptics based VR.

    He has led and completed several UK and P.R China funded projects.

    Yinghui Zhang is currently supervising one PhD student, and has one PhD completion.
