This course introduces you to the world of logistics and trade finance and provides a sound framework if you are wishing to pursue a career or further study in this area.

You will also become equipped with the knowledge and skills required to become effective logistics and supply chain managers. You will learn to evaluate factors shaping the trading environment, and will produce a project on an issue of particular interest.

This course can be studied full-time over one year. You can expect taught study on this course to be a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops. Your progress will be assessed through a combination of coursework and written assessment. Usually 11-15 hours per week of activities are timetabled; we recommend that you spend the same amount of hours per week in self-directed study time.

Course Details

The course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills that you require to become effective logistics and supply chain managers and supervisors. The course not only aims to develop skills in logistics from an international perspective but also provides you with knowledge and understanding of economic and political and financial risk factors affecting the world economy. The course is also suitable for those who may be interested in following a career in transport, supply chain management and commerce in general or those wishing to continue with academic study.

We look for applicants that hold a Higher National Diploma or equivalent (Edexcel, ABE, NCC) or Foundation Degree in a related field. international students with Higher Diplomas or degrees from their own country will also be considered.
