Joshua Hancox

• Programme studied: Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production BA (Hons)
• Wilson Endowment Scholarship recipient from Northamptonshire

Joshua received the Wilson Endowment Scholarship, a scholarship for students from Northampton. By using the funds to build a computer set up that could work at industry level standard and keep up with the heavy demands of editing and planning productions, Joshua was able to undertake additional study whilst off-campus, giving him more time to refine, improve and produce creative work that impressed his lecturers.

Joshua believes this additional equipment gave him a greater understanding of his studies, enabling him to graduate with First Class honours. He was also offered vital work experience opportunities that would otherwise not have been possible, including leading on a charity appeal film project with the Mayor of Northampton, and filming an advertisement for Leicester City FC. He’s now working on behind the scenes filming for Crawley Town FC and Eastbourne Borough FC.
