Art students from the University of Northampton had the ultimate tour guide when they visited a private gallery in London.

World-renowned artist, Glenn Brown, took the students on a tour of the Gagosian Gallery in Grosvenor Hill, which is currently home to his Come to Dust exhibition.

Stefan Gant, Senior Lecturer in Drawing and New Media, said: “Glenn is one of the world’s top painters, and so it really was one of those rare events that the students will never forget.

“Not only did he take us on a personal tour and talk about his work, he also hosted a question and answer session. It simply doesn’t get much bigger than this.”

Students on the tour included those on the BA (Hons) Painting and Drawing, BA (Hons) Fine Art, and MA Fine Art courses, plus PhD students. They were also accompanied by gallery associate director, Hannah Freedberg.
