Lift and escalator symposium goes online

A symposium devoted to advancing research and education in the lifts and escalator industries will be going virtual, this year.

The 11th Symposium on Lift and Escalator Technologies, which is supported by the University of Northampton, takes place online from Wednesday 23 to Friday 25 September.

The symposium brings together experts from the field of vertical transportation, offering opportunities for speakers to present peer-reviewed papers on the subject of their research. Speakers include industry experts, academics and postgraduate students.

The objective of the Lift and Escalator Symposium is to advance research and education in the lifts and escalator and related technologies. The event is supported by the University, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and The Lift and Escalator Industry Association.
