Alan Moore presses pause on League of Extraordinary Gentleman project – to hold court with our students

Writer Alan Moore, who is frequently described as the best graphic novel writer in history, took time out from working on the final instalment of his world-famous comic book series to pass on his wisdom to University of Northampton students.

Moore, who is arguably Northampton’s most famous living son, took a break from working on volume four of his League of Extraordinary Gentlemen series to talk to students on the Illustration course.

After the talk, Alan spoke to the University press office about his own experiences of education before launching into a passionate defence of The Arts and creative industries.
