Staff Profile

  • Sarah has been an academic in UK Higher Education for 12 years. Prior to this, Sarah’s professional background was as an HR Manager in the aviation industry where and was primarily involved with Employee Relations. Sarah has experience of working in public sector Human Resources roles and running a consultancy providing HRM advice for small businesses.

    Recently Sarah has completed a PhD with a thesis titled ‘Reassessing Strategic Pay: Testing relationships between organisational contingencies, pay and HR performance outcomes’. Sarah has also been a co-author of the CIPD’s annual reward survey reports series and has presented research at international conferences.
