Staff Profile

  • Emma has practiced as a Mental Health Nurse in Northamptonshire for 26 years, mainly working in Crisis Intervention and Community Mental Health Roles. Emma has worked at UON for 11 years.

  • Emma teaches on the BSc Nursing programme with a focus on Mental Health skills and also leads on the post registration Professional Nurse Advocate PNA programme and the UON Mental Health First Aid provision for students and the community.

  • Emma has a passion for research around student wellbeing focusing on student nurses and graduates.

    Emma is also in the process of completing research looking at Accelerated Access to Nursing.

    Emma is in her first year of her Professional Doctorate.
