This course is externally accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). Successful completion of the course will allow you admission as a full member (MCIPS).

Course Details

You will cover every stage of the supply chain, from raw material supply to resource recovery, as will the many modes of transport, on land, sea and in the air.

Developments in the last two decades have seen huge investments into the technologies necessary to deliver reduced operating costs, shorter lead times and better value for customers. You will investigate and evaluate the range of current approaches to Logistics and Supply Chain Management and will look at how this could change in the next five years through the use of theoretical and industry sources.

Throughout the course you are taught by experienced academic staff with specialist knowledge of their own subject areas. Taught modules are delivered using a combination of lecture and workshop sessions, with an emphasis on participation and discussion. Case studies and exercises are used extensively to bring concepts and theories to life.
