This programme will help you develop a deeper appreciation and confidence of your professional identity as an occupational therapist. You are taught by highly experienced occupational therapy educators, whose research contributes to future practice.

You will develop a unique and multi-disciplinary professional approach. Graduates will enhance their ability to offer advanced, research based, occupational therapy assessment, and interventions, plus be able to implement innovative changes in practice.

Course Details

The certificate comprises three compulsory modules focusing on developing your theoretical knowledge of occupation, implementation of evidence based interventions, and advancement of practice within changing contexts of contemporary health and social care.

This course is composed of modules which can build to an MSc in Advanced Occupational Therapy*. The Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Occupational Therapy offers a compressive knowledge in key disciplines, including Occupational Science that inform and underpin occupational therapy.
