What an unconditional offer means
We make unconditional offers to applicants who share the same beliefs and ambitions as the University – individuals who we can help to achieve their goals in a way that benefits the community around us.
Receiving an unconditional offer means that you have achieved the results you need for your chosen course or that your application is particularly strong.
Your application and/or interview will be carefully reviewed by the course tutor and admissions team. Applications aren’t solely assessed on academic qualifications, with your personal statement and previous work or voluntary experience taken into account when we make a decision.
We consider each application on its own merit and receiving an unconditional offer is clear indication that we would welcome you as a student on the course you have applied for.
Although your place with us won’t be dependent on your exam results, it is important you complete any qualifications you are currently studying to the best of your ability. The skills and knowledge you develop will be invaluable on your university course and in future employment.
There may be other non-academic conditions you need to meet, for example getting a DBS check or providing proof of your qualifications. If you are unsure of these conditions, please check the webpage for your course or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
