The University Gateway

final major project

The University Gateway has been designed to provide space for performing arts, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, art galleries and office work. The building has been specifically designed to minimise the amount of energy consumption. The careful study of the natural environment on the site in conjunction with the required internal functions steered the design stage to achieve the finished article. The choice and use of materials, technologies and innovate thinking means the University Gateway comfortably meets its deign brief whilst at the same time demonstrating how through good, critical design our industry can help reduce climate change by reducing energy consumption.
