Viewer discretion advised. The work on display on this profile contains: the topic of dissociative personality disorder and mental illness.

My illustrations and prints often focus on themes of nature and the weirder aspects of life. I take a lot of inspiration from the world around me and I am a massive hoarder of ephemera, which leads to my bold and fun style. My main aim through my work is to have fun and evoke emotions, be that happiness, humour or contemplation.

In Your Head

Major Final Project

For this project I looked into dissociative personality disorder after being inspired by the book ‘Fight Club’. My book ‘In Your Head’ is an illustrative interpretation of the cause and effect of this mental illness. The book itself was made using fabric paint, lino printing and embroidery on fabric that I then assembled to form my final outcome.

Blanc First Chop Commission

Flavourly Magazine Editorial

For this project, I sought out a commission from First Chop Brewery who wanted editorial illustrations for their new range of pale ale to be printed in Flavourly Magazine.

Puffin Book Cover

Penguin Random House Student Design Competition

For this project, I designed and illustrated a cover for the book ‘Talking Turkeys’ by Benjamin Zephaniah to enter into the Penguin Random House Student Design Competition. To portray the range of themes and topics the poems cover, I came up with the idea of doing an exquisite corpse exercise where I made illustrations responding to different poems selected at random. After this, I chose my favourite combinations and worked with them further to create a front and back cover.
