Laptop included in your tuition fee*

Write something. Design something. Change something. We want our student to make a difference. That’s why students joining a full time degree at Northampton receive a laptop when their course begins*.

Featuring a slim design and a 15.6inch HD LED screen, the laptops are built to a bespoke custom specification ideal for use in the seminar room, collaborative group work or studying at home.

Funded Study Trips**

We’ve built a global reputation as a leader in social innovation. Our graduates stand out from the crowd and are highly employable, digitally literate global citizens.

Many of our courses include a number of trips that will help you develop new skills, discover new cultures and explore new ways of thinking. We think that’s really important. So we fund all travel and accommodation costs on any compulsory study trip**.

Experiential learning is important to our students, so we provide experiences that help you understand more about the world and how it connects to your studies and future. Experiences come in all sorts of forms; volunteering, work based learning, global exchange programmes, exploring enterprise and social innovation and much more.

Transformational Learning through Inspirational Teaching

We like to keep it personal, so you’ll study in small groups supported by one-to-ones.

We want every one of our students to not only be able to reflect on and critique what they learn, but also actively contribute to the construction of subject they are studying.  For us, higher education should always be a collaborative process between academic and students – like minded individuals working together.

The Learning Hub – Your On-Campus Library

The Learning Hub is a great place for extracurricular study, or taking a quick break. This ‘fusion facility’, which is open 24 hours/day, contains key areas such as:

  • the library – which houses all the core course texts you need for your study.
  • teaching areas
  • specialists’ skills spaces
  • group and silent study spaces
  • a café and a restaurant
