Youth and Community Leadership MA Welcome Pack

Welcome to MA Youth and Community Leadership 2023

A warm welcome to the MA Youth and Community Leadership course from the programme team.  We are passionate about the difference that youth and community practitioners can make to the lives of individuals and communities and this course will provide with the opportunities to gain new skills as well as develop existing ones that will help you achieve the professional youth and community work qualification (JNC) alongside your MA.  The teaching team is made up qualified and experienced youth and community practitioners and there will be opportunities to meet others working in the area through visits, placements and professional supervision.

You will be studying full time over 12 months or part time over 24 months and can expect a mix of taught sessions, discussions, workshops and two x 200 placement opportunities.  Students join the course from UK and overseas and bring a range of life and work experiences so you will also learn from each other as well as having a range of support from the team and the wider university.  Looking forward to meeting you all on Thursday 28 September 2023.
