Early Years Foundation Degree Welcome Pack

Welcome to Early Years Foundation Degree 2022.

Welcome to the Early Years Foundation degree we are really looking forward to working with you. During the course we hope you will develop as reflective learners who understand the changing nature of early childhood. This will be in taught sessions, where we hope you will be joining in discussions, reflective written tasks and self-evaluation to ensure that you have the opportunity to fully reflect on your role in the early lives of children.

You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real work contexts, linking theory and evidence with practice. We recognise that you are experienced practitioners, some of you will be returning to learning, so a key focus for the first year is developing your academic writing and study skills. To do this We hope that you develop a community of learning and that you have fun along the way.
