Welcome to Architectural Technology BSc 2023.
Architectural Technology is one of the programmes within the 3-Dimensional Design (3DD) subject area in the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology (FAST). Our dedicated studio (CH211) on the third floor of the Creative Hub provides a great ambience for learning and teaching of architectural technology. This is complimented with state-of-the art CAD suites and a workshop shared with other programmes within the 3DD subject area. Shared facilities provide our students with the opportunity and unique experience of interacting and sharing ideas with students from product design, fashion, graphics, etc.

Welcome and Induction Session
This introductory session gives you an opportunity to get to know your Architectural Technology tutors and for us to know you, as well as the expectation in the first year of your study.
Equipment
You will need the following drawing equipment:
- Architectural scale rule
- A3 portable drawing board
- Pencils (H, 2H and HB)
- Eraser (rubber)
- Set square (either adjustable or combination of 45 degrees and 30-60 degrees)
