Travel Fund Application Information

The University of Northampton, in partnership with Santander, have funding to support students wishing to undertake an international visit or project. Travel should improve either education, employability or entrepreneurship. Applications are accepted from all current University of Northampton students.

We are particularly interested in students who have encountered barriers to study and can demonstrate how this will benefit themselves and the University.

What can be funded?

Funding can be used for travel (economy only), accommodation, subsistence and other necessary costs for an overseas visit. This could include:

• Independent study visits linked to your field of study or research
• International placements, internships, or opportunities linked to your field of study or research or to your career ambitions
• Enterprising activities linked to your business aspirations

Please note that we are unable to cover study or field trips which are organised by the university, or travel within the UK, or to your country of nationality.

Santander Travel Fund Deadline

Applications have now closed. This Fund will be open again in the academic year 2024/25.
