Research Governance and Policies

Research undertaken by the University should have a clear purpose and should meet or exceed recognised standards for research practice, ethics and integrity, thereby maintaining the confidence of the public and collaborators in the University’s governance of research.

The University of Northampton is committed to the Universities UK Concordat to Support Research Integrity and maintaining ethical research and practice throughout the institution. The University requires all researchers based at the University to act ethically. This requirement extends to all researchers working with, for, or otherwise under the auspices of the University (e.g. those partnering with, or under contract to, or to the University).
