Dr Sue Dutton

Sue Dutton, a member of the Board of Governors

Sue Dutton has extensive teaching and managerial experience in education. She began her professional career teaching English in secondary schools and held a number of senior roles before moving into higher education.

She joined the Open University in 1998 and is currently Director of Strategy, Planning and Resources in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She is a Fellow of the Association of University Administrators and a member of the Open University Council.

Her academic research interests focus on the factors that attract and retain young students at university.
