Lucie Armstrong-Kurn

Lucie was appointed to the Board following an election from the University’s professional services staff. Lucie has worked at the University for 15 years and is now the Faculty Operations Manager (Professional Regulations) in the Faculty of Health, Education and Society.  Whilst Lucie no longer has a professional career in Healthcare/Education (Childcare), the role enables Lucie’s passion for healthcare and education to be realised through supporting staff and students in a wider context, which she finds very rewarding.  Lucie enjoys a challenge and problem solving.  This continues at home as she is a mum to two young children.

Lucie’s role is key in ensuring that the Board has an insight and view from the University’s professional services staff. She brings to the Board extensive experience of the University and Faculty support services and management, having worked in office administration and management since 2000.
