Making your own way
We understand that not all of our students will be able to arrive on the ‘Meet and Greet’ dates. To make your own way to the University, all you need to do is to plan and budget for your travel. We hope this price checklist will assist with this and make your journey to the University of Northampton more enjoyable.
If you need any further help then please remember that you can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will offer you a warm welcome and advice.

Travelling by taxi
If you are making your own travel arrangements we advise students book a taxi through a company that is approved by the University:
Changes to your arrival plans
Please note that if you fail to take your taxi for any reason you will still be liable to pay the fee. If you wish to cancel your taxi please ensure you do so at least one working day beforehand.
We do not recommend that students take a taxi that we have not booked for them because they can be very expensive (in excess of £200). If you should choose to take a taxi that is not booked by the University please ensure that you take a taxi from the official taxi rank. Under no circumstances should you use a non-licensed taxi as they are illegal.
