Xerte e-learning and online Toolkits Workshop – Introduction for beginners
What staff need(s) will the workshop meet?
Help! I need to bring online interactivity and participation rather than just give students material to read.
My PowerPoint slides are set up simply for me to ‘deliver’ content to the students.
How can I use some of the content but move to a more active online delivery?
I need to ensure that the students are engaging with online activities.
Through this you will...
- gain knowledge and understanding of the Xerte software templates, page types, features and tools available to be able to produce an interactive e-learning session.
- work actively with Xerte software to become familiar and confident to develop an interactive online e-learning package to use in your modules.
- learn some key aspects of instructional design for e-learning packages and how to follow best practice with regard to explicit instructions for students.
- learn and practice the technical workflow to follow and ensure assets (images, video, audio) adhere to copyright and format.
The optional follow-up session will give you the chance to present what you have developed to the facilitator and gain additional 1-2-1 support.
Who would benefit from this workshop
