Personalised support for your teaching! Gain support and guidance from an experienced colleague through peer observation!
What staff need(s) will the workshop meet?
I need to set up Peer Observation for my Fellowship application, or to develop my teaching, and would like some help.
I’ve heard that observation would be a good way to enhance my teaching – where do I start?
I would really like some support and guidance for my teaching - Who can I work with?
I am quite new to teaching - I would like some feedback on my practice from an experienced colleague.
Through this you will...
get the opportunity for personalised support with your teaching, through peer observation by an experienced colleague.
You will have the opportunity to choose what to focus on, discuss what you hope to learn, the challenges you are facing or what you would like feedback on.
It is a chance for confidential discussion and feedback focused on your teaching and your needs.
The Peer Observation can, if you like, be linked to your application for HEA Fellowship, whether Associate Fellowship (AFHEA) or full Fellowship (FHEA), according to your experience and role.
The Peer Observation Consultancy aims to be as flexible as you need it to be.
Who would benefit from this workshop
All Learning and Teaching staff, especially those new to teaching or working as Associate Lecturers.
When does it take place and how can I sign up?
To arrange a peer observation consultancy, please email Shirley Bennett.
