ILT is pleased to announce a new publication reporting the findings of a research project on Overcoming Barriers to Student Engagement with Active Blended Learning. The report is intended to inform and support the process of pedagogical change at the University of Northampton as our new pedagogical model – Active Blended Learning – becomes the normal mode of delivery for learning and teaching at Northampton. The research was undertaken by Elizabeth Palmer – a Learning Designer at the University, Dr Sylvie Lomer, formerly a Learning Development tutor at Northampton and now a Lecturer in Education at the University of Manchester, and Ivelina Bashliyska, student and project Research Assistant.
The report is based on the feedback from students in cohorts where the process of integrating ABL into their learning experiences had already commenced. The interim report of the project findings is available to download here: Student Engagement with ABL Interim Report v3 – October 2017
