The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2016 are expected to come into force in 2017 and will require all organisations employing more than 250 employees to publish their gender pay gap. The Gender pay gap is not the same as equal (or unequal) pay and is defined as the difference between the average pay of all men and the average pay of all women in an organisation.

The University will publish its Gender Pay Gap in line with requirements of the legislation which is likely to be 2017/18.
