Wild writing: Taking English outdoors

This session will explore a range of ways that skills in English can be taught outdoors.

All aspects of the curriculum will be covered. By the end of the session we hope for participants to feel confident in taking English outdoors, exploring imaginations and possibilities creatively.

Hosted by Jo Barrow’ a qualified primary teacher, specialising in English. Jo has worked at the University for 8.5 years, teaching trainee teachers on our undergraduate programme and qualified teachers and educational professionals on our postgraduate programme. Jo is passionate about teaching English creatively and developing Reading for Pleasure communities.

This event is open to all UON staff, students, and members of the public.
