MA Fine Art students from The University of Northampton are pleased to present their group exhibition of work in progress entitled ‘TBC’. The exhibition marks the mid-point of the course and can be seen as a presentation of work in progress towards the culmination of their studies, which will be their final degree show in September.

As such, the exhibition allows the group to explore and test out their practice within a public space rather than present a fully resolved series of statements. The show will feature a variety of works across all disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, film and sound.

Senior lecturer Dr Andrew Hewitt said, “During the last three years the Fine Art team have been steadily building our excellent provision for postgraduate study at UoN and this year we have our largest and most international cohort of students to date. The WIP show is a great opportunity for these emergent artists to test out their new artworks and to work collectively to present an exhibition.”

‘TBC’ will take place at the University of Northampton’s Avenue Gallery from 19-27 April, Monday to Friday 10am-4pm.

There is a private view on Thursday 20 April from 6-8pm where members of the public are warmly invited to join us for drinks and refreshments, meet the students and find out more about their work. To book your place please email.
