So, here’s the thing…Rastafari – A Movement for Positive Social Change

5th April 2019

12:30 – 13:30

Learning Hub, Waterside Campus, University Drive, Northampton, NN1 5PH

Library and Learning Services (LLS) presents Andy Bryan, Customer Services Assistant from LLS.

Who are the Rastafarians?

This talk will take the audience on a journey into the unique way of life of Rastafari, including diet, dress and language. We will look at the quest for equality and justice as a priority and the continued struggle against colonial powers and racists laws.

The ability for mankind to live in harmony with the natural environment becomes a reality as does peace and unity among nations.

We will also take a look into the future success of Rastafari communities worldwide.
