Intermission – MA Fine Art exhibition
Private View: Thursday 9 May 5-7pm – refreshments will be served, all welcome
Exhibition Dates: 9-16 May, 10am-4pm (11am-4pm on Sunday, closed Monday 13 May)
Intermission is an exhibition of new work by MA Fine Art students at The University of Northampton. The exhibition marks the mid-point of the course, and can be seen as a presentation of work in progress towards the pinnacle of their studies in September.
As such, the exhibition allows the group to explore and test out their practice within a public space rather than present a fully resolved series of statements. The exhibition and the curatorial approach it requires also anticipates and prepares the students for the next public exhibition of their work, which will be their final degree shows in September.
Intermission will take place at Unit 8-12 Newlands Walk, the Grosvenor Centre, Northampton NN1 2EB from 9-16 May, with a Private View on Thursday 9 May from 5-7pm where you are warmly invited to join the students for drinks and refreshments and find out more about their work.
