Research Profile

  • Kirsty achieved her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Literature from the University of Stirling and master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen. She has a background in working in mental health and is currently working towards her PhD and specialising in evolutionary psychology and exploring the relationship between the BIS and the major histocompatibility complex (MHC).

    Her research interests include behaviour and evolutionary adaptations, mental health, resilience, and neuropsychology.
