  • Jean Edwards is a Senior Lecturer in the Education, Children and Youth subject area of the FHES. Jean is also Admissions Tutor for the Foundation Degree Learning and Teaching (FDLT) and BA Learning and Teaching (BALT) courses. I teach and am a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) on these courses.

  • Jean teaches across the FDLT and BALT courses. Jeans’ teaching is focused on using digital technology to support learning; teaching English; supporting learning by working outdoors and debating educational issues online.

  • Jean is involved in the Erasmus+ Digital Learning Across Boundaries (DLAB) project working with pupils, students, teachers and academics across five countries to develop changemaking through collaboration and creative use of digital technology.

  • Publications include Teaching Primary Art (2013), a book to support TAs, HLTAs, students and new teachers with their teaching. This book is about to published in a second edition with an increased focus on using both physical and digital tools to make and learn about art in Spring 2021.
