Mr. Jacob Penkethman is an associate lecturer in podiatry at The University of Northampton. His speciality is in diabetic foot disease and the at-risk foot. He is also the Principal Diabetes Podiatrist for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and oversees the podiatry diabetic and high-risk foot provision across Cambridgeshire County. He is an independent prescriber and completed his Master of Science (MSc) degree in The Theory of Podiatric Surgery at The University of Huddersfield. He has also worked in many other roles including Advanced Diabetes Podiatrist, Staff Podiatrist (Podiatric Surgery) and Nail Surgery Lead. He has experience in MSK, Podopaediatrics, diagnostic imaging and other clinical investigations. He is also completing his PhD exploring phenomenon surrounding diabetic foot disease, exploring diabetic foot ulcer outcomes across different populations in the United Kingdom.
