Research Profile

  • Dr Torres Perez received his MSc in Electrical Engineering and a MPhil (DEA) in power electronics from the University of Oviedo (Spain) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. In 2011 he was awarded a PhD by Bournemouth University for a thesis on Condition Monitoring and Tribology. Before joining the University of Northampton in September 2012, he was working as a Senior Electronics Engineer for Microgen Engine Corporation Holding BV in Peterborough.  

    His research interests are multidisciplinary, mainly focussed on the broad range of applications of embedded systems.
