  • Alex is module leader for PSY2007: The Psychology of Wellbeing and PSY1004: Investigating Psychology and has contributed to a number of modules on both Undergraduate and masters level programmes.

    Alex’s primary area of interest lies with altered states of consciousness and transformative experiences. His research includes the phenomenology of psychoactive substances, self-medication and the psychopharmacological physical and mental health benefits of psychoactive substance use. He also has interest in the nature of human consciousness and augmented/virtual reality.

  • Alex is module leader for PSY2007: The Psychology of Wellbeing and PSY1004: Investigating Psychology and has contributed to Biological Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics (both quantitative and qualitative), Positive psychology, Social World, Psychology of Spirituality, Religion and Wellbeing, Sport Psychology, Psychology in Practice and Psychology of Education. He also contributes to a number of Research Methods modules at Masters level.
