• Entry Requirements

  If you hold a first or second class honours degree from a British university, or equivalent qualification, and have a minimum of two years relevant management experience, you will be eligible to apply for this course.

  We will consider your application if you can prove any prior credit or experiential learning that is relevant to the course. As this postgraduate qualification will attract professional practitioners and managers, you may be admitted on the basis of an assessment of meaningful and measurable prior learning or professional experience.

  English Language Requirements

  All International and EU students applying for a course with us must meet the following minimum English language requirements:

  • Minimum standard – IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent)
    for study at postgraduate level.

  2024/25 Tuition Fees

  Fees quoted relate to study in the Academic Year 2024/25 only and may be subject to inflationary increases in future years.

  • UK Full Time: £11,800
  • Distance Learning: £5,900 (Year One 90 Credits) £5,900 (Year Two 90 Credits)

  Additional costs

  You will have the opportunity to participate in the MBA business event (Greece in 2017) in your first year. The MBA business event is optional and the cost should not exceed £500 for flights and accommodation (if you are travelling from the UK). You will need to allow an additional £250 for your expenses.

  Please note: Additional fees, over and above your course fees, will be payable for the optional elements, for example for travel and accommodation for the Business Event or by the examination or membership bodies for membership and assessments associated with the qualifications.

  What is the difference between an MBA and an Executive MBA?

  An EMBA is similar to a general MBA course, however, it is more suitable for individuals with senior management experience who are looking to further progress their career.

  Executive MBA courses tend to be studied part time or via Distance Learning to fit around work, and typically attract older students who have already gained substantial experience in the world of business.

  Unlike other postgraduate courses which provide in-depth specialisation in a particular field, an MBA is interdisciplinary. An MBA exposes you to all areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing, and human resources.

  What is the difference between an MBA and an Executive MBA?

  While both EMBA and MBA degrees focus on business development, have rigorous curriculums and are globally recognised, the distinction between them comes in the course design.

  Executive MBA courses are a more ideal option for those already working in business positions, such as in executive, manager or consultant roles, and who wish to fit their study around their day job.

  Meanwhile, MBA programs are typically studied on a full-time basis and are suited to individuals with less managerial experience.
