Alumni Changemaker Discount
It’s more important than ever to keep your CV strong.
That’s why we’re introducing the Alumni Changemaker Discount, which provides a 50% discount on selected UON postgraduate courses for people who graduated in 2019 or earlier, to help ensure our Alumni are strong in the jobs market and providing opportunities to reskill.
The Alumni Changemaker Discount is a chance for our graduates to get an increased discount, from 20% to 50% on these postgraduate courses starting in September 2021 if you left in 2019 or before:
- MSc International Marketing Strategy
- MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- MSc Advanced Design and Manufacturing
- MA Youth and Community Leadership
Don’t forget, you can borrow up to £11,222 from Student Finance England – terms and conditions apply, with more information available on the gov.uk website. The Masters loan is complementary to any student loan you may have, and works in a similar way, repaying 6% of your income after a threshold of £1,750 per month.
The eligibility criteria and processes of obtaining this are very similar to the existing 20% Alumni discount, but only for home and EU fee status graduates who left us in 2019 or before. Whilst our International graduates are not eligible, we’d like to remind you there are a number of schemes exclusively for international graduates, including the International Graduate Scholarship.
The discount is applied automatically during enrolment.
As with all our courses, the programmes chosen to feature in the discount scheme have, at their core, the University’s Changemaker values.
Changemaker, is a commitment by the University of Northampton to support social entrepreneurship – to enable those who identify a social or environmental problem, develop inventive and entrepreneurial solutions for it, and make them happen.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, many communities have benefitted from social entrepreneurship to get through and excel through difficult times – we want to help all our students to develop the skills they need to realise their ideas.
