Course Structure

You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of digital platforms as well as traditional media as you develop and execute real campaigns on your course. Students on a three-year single honours programme at undergraduate level will benefit from undertaking a year-long placement between Stages Two and Three of their study. These placements provide invaluable experiences for those who meet the entry criteria, allowing them to apply their learning and prepare for their future career path. We offer support to help you find the right placement to suit you, whether it be based in the UK or overseas.

Career Prospects

Graduates from the University of Northampton’s advertising and marketing courses have gone on to work in a wide range of companies and in a diverse array of roles. Common marketing and advertising jobs for graduates include Account Executive, Digital Display Executive, Media Planner, Press Assistant, Branding and Strategy Assistant, Copywriter and Social Media Coordinator, amongst others.

Advertising and Digital Marketing Degrees

Learn essential disciplines in the world of digital and social media, as well as gaining invaluable experiences. Alongside industry visits and regular guest speakers, students on this course will work on real projects with real budgets. Fashion Marketing Degrees

BA Fashion Marketing & Promotion allows you to develop a specialism in one of the following industry fields; fashion buying, merchandising, brand management, digital marketing. Top up your HND or diploma with this one year intensive course, designed to give you a direct route into management and marketing careers. Our BA Marketing Management Top Up focuses on the latest marketing practices used by successful organisations competing in today’s increasingly complex digital and global markets.

Entry Requirements: You will need to hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent (Edexcel, ABE, NCC) or Foundation Degree in a related field. 

Postgraduate Advertising & Marketing Programmes

Broaden your career prospects and build upon your industry knowledge with a Masters in marketing and advertising from the University of Northampton.

Our MSc International Marketing Strategy postgraduate course has been designed to deliver a strong foundation for you to thrive upon in the dynamic international marketing industry.
