Oliver Reynolds

There is so much to learn in this constant developing field, however The University of Northampton provided me a broad range of knowledge that has enabled me to find employment and develop as an architectural technologist.

I studied various modules whilst at The University of Northampton, which have all been very useful in my current position of employment. They include Building Information Modelling, Practice, Regulations and Conventions in Architecture, Design Specification and Production Information and Technical Architectural Design.

I managed to secure a job as an Architectural Technologist at a reputable company called GSS Architecture, almost immediately after graduating. GSS Architecture was founded in 1879, making it one of the longest established architectural practices in the country. It is a dynamic, forward thinking practice that delivers innovative solutions, from initial concepts and masterplanning through to delivery and completion. I am proud to represent such a well-respected/established firm that offers investment to our personal development. I have no plans to leave GSS but to improve as an employee and develop my career within the practice, eventually becoming an Associate.
