Almost three years after graduating, Aleksandra Dziubek is now the lead software developer for Hollaroo, a small private company that offers trusted social recruiting networks for business. She has also applied to complete a PhD at the University of Northampton.
“My course was highly stimulating and helped develop my professional skills in problem solving and programming. I also volunteered for a number of jobs, such as mentoring, running workshops and web development. This experience helped transform me from a shy teenager into a self-confident woman and has inspired me to look at tutoring in the future.”
While studying, Aleksandra was actively involved in the University’s STEM Programme, delivering science activities in schools to inspire children and was a recognised National STEM Ambassador.
“The University of Northampton offers many volunteering opportunities and work related projects to help boost your CV and make it stand out. It also holds careers fairs and guest talks from people in the industry so I recommend attending these as they provide a good opportunity to network. Completing my degree was a wonderful experience and certainly one of the best times of my life.”
