Alumni E-Mentoring Scheme offers a platform for students to connect with University of Northampton graduates who offer a number of mentoring services.

Students in a lecture

This sophisticated online tool provides both students and alumni with an opportunity to connect and communicate with each other as mentor and mentee. The system works very much like LinkedIn where a profile is created and a student can add a short biog about themselves and the areas of support they require. You can choose if you want to help others and be a mentor or benefit from others’ experience and become a mentee.  To find out more about the system, read our brief summary.

The Alumni E-Mentoring Scheme has already produced a number of success stories

Geography BSc (Hons) student Thomas Fojut was mentored by an alumnus working in town planning and now has a job as a Graduate Transport Planner. Thomas has said of the Alumni E-Mentoring Scheme: “I feel that the experience has benefited me, because I now think it is the field of work I would like to be involved in as a career.”

Take control of your experiences and be part of the power of mentoring.
