Staff Profile

  • Dr Patrice Seuwou received his PhD in Computer Science & Informatics from London South Bank University, specialising on Autonomous vehicles adoption. Patrice master’s degree was in Innovative Technology from the University of East London in the United Kingdom, specialising in Forensics science.

    He is a senior lecturer in Digital Business, programme leader for the BSc (Hons) Digital Business and MBA deputy programme leader. Prior to that, he was a programme leader for a portfolio of undergraduate courses in the private sector in partnership with Plymouth University, a lecturer at London South Bank University and also Academic Registrar & Quality Manager working for a large private institution in partnership with Gloucestershire University. He has published in the area of Vehicular Ad hoc Networks, Actor-Network Theory, Self-driving car and his research interests include Autonomous vehicles, Management Information Systems, VANET security, Authentication and privacy, computer networks including wired and wireless networks, mobile and ubiquitous computing, Linux systems, RFID technology, protocols simulation and legislation in computer science.

    Patrice is currently exploring the experiences of Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students in Higher education.

    Patrice is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), Reviewer for the International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics (IJESDF), External Examiner for Pearson. Patrice is a Microsoft certified professional, Member of the Association of Computer Professional (ACP), a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and also Member of the Chartered Institute for IT(BCS). He also Qualified as Enterprise Solution Architect with the British Computer Society.
