Based in the heart of the United Kingdom, the University has many good transport links at its disposal by way of the M1 motorway and train lines. Northampton Railway Station is located approximately half a mile from the town centre and within the town of Northampton itself are many regular bus services. University-run bus service ‘Uno’ links both campuses to other locations in Northampton such as the town centre and train station. Northampton is also easily accessible from five major international airports including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, London Luton and Birmingham.

For visitors traveling by car, parking is available on both campuses. Visitor parking at Avenue Campus is located in front of Quinton building, or at the rear of Newton building if visiting Newton. Visitor parking at Park Campus is located in Car Park 4. These spaces can be reserved by calling Security.

The University campuses have a limited number of student car parking spaces. As a result, campus parking restrictions apply to students living off campus who commute for lectures. Campus parking restrictions and charges also apply to students who are living on campus in halls of residence.
