Psychology
Psychology is available at The University of Northampton as a single honours BSc (Hons) Psychology undergraduate degree, or can be combined with other subjects in a joint honours programme. There is also a range of specialised Psychology courses

Psychology at The University of Northampton is taught as a flexible, modular course. Students are introduced to central topics and methods through two core modules in year one, which are further explored in year two.
Students also choose modules from a range of options, and in year three students can choose from a wide variety of options. Many of these have an applied Psychology focus, ideal preparation for entering one of the psychological professions.
The BSc (Hons) Psychology course and joint honours courses where Psychology is taken as the major subject are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Students who study a specified pattern of modules are eligible for Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) with the BPS.
Postgraduate study
MSc in Child and Adolescent Health and contributes modules to the MSc in Research Methods. Postgraduate research study to Masters and Doctoral level is also available, with staff offering supervision in a range of research areas.
An MSc in Transpersonal Psychology/Consciousness Studies has been offered in the Psychology Division since 2006. Taught primarily by CSAPP staff, this innovative and stimulating programme is based around a blend of taught modules and experiential modules. Facilities
Psychology is taught at The University of Northampton's Park Campus. The laboratories and teaching facilities are conveniently located within the Fawsley building, a pleasant and accessible low-level building.
Psychology students benefit from a range of facilities which enable them to carry out practical research.
