Jonathan is Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Award Leader for the successful MA in International Relations.
He earned his BA (Hons.) from Staffordshire University and his MA and PhD in International Relations from Warwick University.
Previous to his employment at Northampton, he taught Politics and International Relations at Staffordshire and Warwick Universities.
Jonathan has over ten years experience teaching a wide variety of subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of Politics, Sociology, International Development and International Relations.
He has successfully supervised over 30 graduate students in a variety of areas ranging from the ethics of political violence to political theory, from democracy and democratisation in sub-Saharan Africa to political religion.
