University of Northampton hosts a reunion for its international alumni in Vietnam

​As part of its 10-year anniversary celebrations, the University of Northampton hosted an alumni reunion on Saturday 7 November in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Up to 40 graduates from Vietnam, Thailand and China attended the celebrations, which included a dinner and talks from various representatives and students from the University.

Ngoc Nguyen, International Recruitment Coordinator at the University of Northampton, commented: “2015 marks the 10 year anniversary of the University receiving the full University title and Research Degree Awarding powers. We are immensely proud of this achievement and that of our graduates who have contributed to the ongoing success of the University over the last 10 years and beyond.

“It was great to have the opportunity to meet our alumni and University representatives who travelled far and wide to come to the event and we are grateful for those who brought along their own memories of their time at the University of Northampton.”

Nguyen Lan Anh, Admin/Accounting Officer of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Vietnam, who graduated from the MSc Management (Financial Analysis) programme in 2013, commented: “It was a great night which brought back vivid beautiful memories of Northampton. They all came back to me when I saw the familiar faces of my dear classmates and teachers. It was such a very moving moment. Thank you for a wonderful night!”
