University of Northampton students star in new advertising campaign for Royal College of Nursing

Date 12.04.2017

If you see any advertising or student publications from the Royal College of Nursing this year, don’t be surprised to see the smiling faces of our very own student nurses.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) – the world’s largest union and professional body for nursing staff – recently visited the University of Northampton to take photos of our staff, students and equipment, in order to update all of the organisation’s promotional material.

Vicky Wright, Senior Lecturer in Children’s Nursing, was proud that the University was chosen: “The students were great and the photos look fantastic. The images will be used on RCN’s new promotional material, so look out for us!”

The RCN is a membership organisation and trade union made up of more than 435,000 registered nurses, midwives, health care assistants and nursing students.  The University of Northampton images will be used on the RCN website, to illustrate the pre-registration and nursing study pages, and on the organisation’s clinical publications, magazines and marketing material.
