Marketing students from the University of Northampton achieve 100% pass rate on Chartered Institute of Marketing assessment

Date 16.11.2015

Ten enterprising students from the University of Northampton’s Business School have received stellar grades from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in their Introductory Certificate qualification.

Grant Timms, Senior Lecturer in Marketing commented: The CIM professional qualification complements the academic content of the marketing degree. These students are enhancing their future employability, building their confidence and showing their prowess as marketers of the future.”

Grant continued: “We achieved a pass rate of 80 per cent last year, so to receive 100 per cent this year is a tribute to the hard work and commitment of the students, and the contribution of the tutors. Samantha Read, who joined NBS as a Teaching Research Assistant in September, has taken a lead role in working with the CIM class of 2014.

“We have certainly raised the bar this year, with a clutch of A grades and 100 per cent pass rate.  Our challenge for next year is to maintain the high standards we have set and drive for higher numbers,” he concluded.
