Date 14.01.2016

Hannah Pryce, a solicitor at Howes Percival, will be talking about the possibility of ending the gender pay gap in a generation at the Northampton Business School (NBS) later this month.

Taking place on Thursday 21 January, Hannah’s talk will be the third NBS Speaker Event and she will be discussing the Government’s plans to produce mandatory reporting of information on gender pay differences in the workplace. She will be focusing on what this will mean for businesses and whether this can be achieved in practice.

Hannah has advised on a broad range of employment law matters; both contentious and non-contentious and particularly enjoys assisting with complaints of a contentious nature and relishes the opportunity to represent clients in tribunal proceedings. Her work includes defending claims of sex, disability and age discrimination and she has a broad experience on providing advice on day-to-day matters which arise within the workplace, such as disciplinary and grievance issues and working with leaders.

Claire Corkram Employer Engagement Co-ordinator for NBS, said “The speaker events are a great way for our students to network with external business professionals and debate current topical affairs to advance their knowledge and understanding on the current world of work. Anyone who is interested in the topic is welcome to attend.”

The talk will take place in Cottesbrooke at the University of Northampton’s Park Campus and will start at 6pm. To book tickets visit Eventbrite.
